this scene defies physics because inertia. since the truck has more mass momentum and no force and the thing has 0 he would have to move since the momentum has to be equal. this would not work in real life because he did not move at all and the car would hurt him or kill him and send him flying backwards; in other words, he wouldnt be able to just stand there and stop the truck from moving forward.
