My phone cover is a white see through cover with a yellow M on it. When put under white light the M appears to be yellow. But, under red light, the M appears to be red. This happens because the yellow M absorbs the red light projecting on it.

With the tube, which is an insulator, we observed that the salt sticks to it. This happens because the insulator holds the charge and the neutral salt is attracted to the charge. With the pie tin, which is a conductor, we fount the results to be inconclusive because when we tried to test the salt, the salt did not really bounce off the pie tin.
